Rock Creek Wellness Personal Trainers seek to design fitness programs that consider functional capacity, increased flexibility, and increasing strength and endurance. They will strive to help their clients:

Communication is essential to the personal training process. Personal Trainers will seek to understand the needs of the client, and the client must be open with the trainer to provide the best program and avoid injury.
Personal Trainers at Rock Creek Wellness are National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified and continue to sharpen their skills and broaden offerings through continuing education. They follow the NASM-BOC Code of Professional Conduct and are also Adult CPR/AED certified.
Katelyn serves as a Health & Wellness Coach for Rock Creek Wellness. She holds a Master's of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in wellness and fitness and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Katelyn is also a Wellcoaches Certified Health & Wellness Coach. She is currently developing virtual physical training content for Rock Creek Wellness and hopes to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
You provide background information through various assessments, so that you and your trainer are well-informed on the key issues, including medical considerations, as appropriate. You will clarify fitness goals, review previous experiences, and define the process together.
During this initial session, you may be asked to perform a few standard movements to assess any muscular dysfunctions.
In subsequent 30–40-minute training sessions, each week, month, or quarter, you and your trainer review the progress toward your goals, explore and resolve challenges, adjust as necessary, and set a goal for the following session.
This package includes one intake session and 12 weekly or bi-weekly check-in sessions. A $40 savings.
Training begins with payment and when the first session is scheduled. After the initial session, the training session length will be determined per the coach and client’s schedule and needs. Training sessions are initiated when the coach calls you at the scheduled time with the number/email you have provided.
