Clarissa is an experienced career counselor who is also a licensed professional counselor. Most of Clarissa’s career expertise has been with young adults ages 18-25 and older adults experiencing sudden career transitions. Clarissa has counseled hundreds of young adults as they transitioned from high school student to young professional.
Clarissa’s style and empathetic understanding blossomed out of her own journey from small town USA to the ivy league (Yale University), and back!
Clarissa has an eclectic background in career and lifestyle counseling, carpentry, clinical counseling, farming, and pastoral care. Clarissa is most passionate about serving rural communities and she is known for quickly transitioning from business suits to rubber boots. Clarissa is most familiar with the career landscape of Northwestern PA and has participated in the region’s largest career fairs and networks.

This is a 60-minute, one-on-one session with Clarissa. During this session, a client can expect to draft their goals for career counseling, define current obstacles and questions, and share their needs.
*This session must be completed prior to the Career Counseling session.
A 60-minute holistic counseling session that is tailored to helping the client define and live their mission for both their career and life. This session is perfect for anyone interested in finding a new job, changing jobs, deciding if college is the right fit, what to study/major in, etc.
This 60-minute session focuses on drafting a mission statement to carry and support the client through the 12-15 job changes they will experience during the course of their lifetime.
Career Coaching is an on-demand conversation with the career counselor via text, that is useful for: navigating competing offers on a tight schedule, quick questions about job applications, resume updates, and last minute interview prep.
Career Coaching is a service that is provided via Google Hangouts. Conversations are up to 15 minutes and are limited to 3 per week (service available Monday-Friday 7am-9pm, conversations are not guaranteed).
